Package: zlib1g
Version: 1:1.2.2-8
Severity: serious
Justification: no longer builds from source

GCC ICEs building deflate.c. There's a preexisting bug #317475 which
may well be the same issue (also -O3, ICE). Filing this so I remember
to check into this and file a bug on GCC.

| gcc -O3 -g -D_REENTRANT -fPIC -DUSE_MMAP -DHAS_snprintf -DHAS_vsnprintf -c -o
deflate.o deflate.c
