Package: perspic
Version: 1.5-5.1+b1
Followup-For: Bug #511199

The original report appears to be missing vital replication steps, I can
make it crash with that stack trace on my machine:

Launch the app
File->Open
Choose directory
OK

File->New also crashes with this stacktrace; and confusingly requires that
you select an existing directory as the "new" filename.

Severity should still be grave - without File->Open and File->New, the
program doesn't do much. The only other things seem to do anything are
File->Exit, font selection, and Word->Define; the latter shows a dialog, but
interaction with it leads to a different crash.

BTW, This package uses GTK1.2 and has a popcon of 25.
