Package: bind9
Version: 9.5.0.dfsg.P2-5.1

This bug is more serious (serious or grave severity) than is listed at:

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=461464

Because I have a large named (lots of zones) on a slow server with not enough
ram (swaps alot), bind init.d restart _SILENTLY_ fails to restart bind9. The
first 3 times this happened, customers and monitoring alerted me to the issue.

The patch in the report above will work fine, but this bug is
much more serious than normal IMHO as it is a denial of critical
services on failure.

Please upgrade the severity and get the working patch into distro.

Old bug too, Jan 18 2008 and still not in sid as of today, a year
later.

Thank you.
