I'm quite sure I did not manually change diversions for /bin/sh. If I remember correctly I once had to change it back using dpkg-reconfigure dash after something set it to bash. > Do you remember more or less since when you started using dash as /bin/sh? Not really. I seem to have installed dash 0.5.4-12 on Aug 26 2008, but I have probably been using it longer. It's just long ago. I think it was some rumors about dash speeding up the boot process that made me switch. Could it be that this was some debconf talk?
