tag 542400 -moreinfo found 542400 1:9-8-1 thanks fyi, i was just able to reproduce this problem with 1:9-8-1. my suggested workaround does work:
$ sudo rm /usr/lib/fglrx/diversions/libglx.so $ sudo apt-get remove fglrx-glx Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done The following packages will be REMOVED: fglrx-glx 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 11 not upgraded. 1 not fully installed or removed. After this operation, 664kB disk space will be freed. Do you want to continue [Y/n]? (Reading database ... 108578 files and directories currently installed.) Removing fglrx-glx ... Removing `diversion of /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so to /usr/lib/fglrx/diversions/libglx.so by fglrx-driver' $ it should be fairly straightforward to update the package to do this correctly. mike -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
