There's a risk GRUB stops booting, but according to your report it doesn't already. Please do the following, in this order: - Update GRUB by running "grub-install /dev/sda". Check if this fixed the problem. - Create a BIOS Boot Partition, and run grub-install again. This is highly recommended when installing on GPT labels.
