Package: exmap
Version: 0.10-2
Severity: normal
Hi,
I just installed exmap and built and insmod'd the module on my amd64
box. Starting gexmap first stalls for maybe 10-20 seconds (I don't
know if that's normal), then outputs the following error message:
------------------------------------------------------------
$ gexmap
Vma::get_pages_for_range - start pgnum out of range: 0, 0 [vsyscall]
sizes_for_mem_range: Can't get pages for range
(ffffffffff600000,ffffffffff601000)
gexmap: /usr/include/boost/shared_ptr.hpp:315: T*
boost::shared_ptr<T>::operator->() const [with T = Exmap::Sizes]: Assertion `px
!= 0' failed.
Aborted
------------------------------------------------------------
exmap-modules-source version is 0.10-2 and kernel is vanilla 2.6.23.8.
dmesg shows nothing suspicious, just "/proc/exmap: insert" as the last
message.

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/453852 in Debian BTS
against the package exmap. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.
For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/515573. That bug might give the reasons why
