Package: ndoutils-nagios3-mysql Version: 1.4b7-11 Severity: grave Justification: causes non-serious data loss
Hi! We just had an power failure on our nagios system, so the system was not shut down cleanly. However upon restart ndoutils silently failed to start. Even a manual /etc/init.d/ndoutils didn't showed any sign of a problem (but ndoutils wasn't started). The problems seems to be the existing /var/cache/nagios3/ndo.sock from the crashed instance. Removing that file solved the starting problem and it seems to work again.
