Package: bfilter
Version: 1.1.4+svn20090620-1
Severity: serious

Hi,

While looking at bfilter to see if it builds fine with gcc-4.3/4.4 it
failed on me. After looking, the current version fails in the same way:

libtool: compile:  g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I../.. -DXP_UNIX
-DJS_THREADSAFE -I../.. -I../.. -I../../main -I../../main/confio
-I../../foundation -I/usr/include/mozjs -DNDEBUG -pthread -g -Wall -O2
-c JsEnvironment.cpp -o JsEnvironment.o
JsEnvironment.cpp: In constructor 'JsEnvironment::Context::Context(const
URI&)':
JsEnvironment.cpp:362: error: 'JS_SetBranchCallback' was not declared in
this scope
JsEnvironment.cpp: In static member function 'static JSBool
JsEnvironment::Context::alert(JSContext*, JSObject*, uintN, jsval*,
jsval*)':
JsEnvironment.cpp:763: warning: unused variable 'data'
make[5]: *** [JsEnvironment.lo] Error 1
make[5]: Leaving directory
`/tmp/buildd/bfilter-1.1.4+svn20090620/libjs/environment'
make[4]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1

This package should probably be updated to use xulrunner instead anyway,
as Ubuntu has done.

Thank you,

Barry deFreese

You filled the bug http://bugs.debian.org/550868 in Debian BTS
against the package bfilter. I'm closing it at *unstable*, but it will
remain open for older distributions.

For more information about this package's removal, read
http://bugs.debian.org/566542. That bug might give the reasons why
this package was removed and suggestions of possible replacements.

Don't hesitate to reply to this mail if you have any question.

Thank you for your contribution to Debian.
