Package: luvcview
Version: 1:0.2.6-1
Severity: serious

The V4L1 API is obsolete and does not work with most new V4L drivers.
You can use libv4l as an emulation layer; see
<http://hansdegoede.livejournal.com/3636.html>.

Please note that although there are source files named 'v4l2uvc.c' and
'v4l2uvc.h', they are actually using V4L1 as defined in
<linux/videodev.h> whereas V4L2 is defined in <linux/videodev2.h>.

Ben.
