I tried this but this was not sufficient. I'd like to add that the problem seems to be located in the CDBS call to: /usr/share/cdbs/1/class/autotools-files.mk at the line 55: 54: if test "$(DEB_AUTO_UPDATE_LIBTOOL)" = "pre" ; then \ 55: cd $(DEB_SRCDIR) && libtoolize -c -f ; \ 56: fi I haven't tried to use pbuilder for a long time (since it was broken), so I may miss some compiling options.
