Package: python-ldb
Version: 1:0.9.10~git20100203-1
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable (on amd64, hppa and mips)

Hello,

On amd64, hppa and mips, python-ldb does not ship modules for Python 2.5
(which is still the default Python version). Apparently, if
python2.6-dev happens to be installed in the chroot, only modules for
2.6 will be installed. Here's an excerpt from hppa build log:

| Package versions: [...] libpython2.6_2.6.4-5 [...] python2.6_2.6.4-5
python2.6-dev_2.6.4-5 python2.6-minimal_2.6.4-5 [...]
[...]
| checking for python2.6-config... /usr/bin/python2.6-config
| checking for python2.6... /usr/bin/python2.6
[...]
| cp ldb.so
/build/buildd-ldb_0.9.10~git20100203-1-hppa-RX4khQ/ldb-0.9.10~git20100203/debian/tmp`/usr/bin/python2.6
 -c "import distutils.sysconfig; print distutils.sysconfig.get_python_lib(1,
prefix='/usr')"`
