dash from 0.5.5.1-7 does not reproduce this problem. $ dash $ hash -r $ ./test.sh PHAAAAAAAAIL! $ cat test.sh #!/bin/sh
echo PHAAAAAAAAIL! $ ls -l test.sh -r-xr--r-- 1 foo foo 30 Aug 2 16:40 test.sh $Looking at the code, its quite different, both from the failing version, and from that patched above.
