First of all thanks for your hard work, but unfortunately there is
something strange. After fix version 2-5 at least my Epson Stylus
started printing from gedit (and other gtk applications). Postscript
printers still got an error. After fix 2-6 none of them is working. I've
tried reinstalling the whole system to get rid of old config files still
lurking somewhere but the error is now exactly the same as before
(that's the cause for the long response time). Cups states that
pdftoraster fails and nothing is printed.
I can reproduce the error by simply open gedit, typing "hello world" and
click on "print".
