Josue,
I'm closing your report as unsupported as you are mixing packages from the
official and unoffical debian repos.
The latest version of kdebase-runtime in Debian is 4:4.4.5-1.
Also a crash doesn't equate with data-loss.
FYIY, I do have kmess running with KDE SC 4.5.1 without issue.
