syncevolution-common contains files that used to be in syncevolution, so it
needs a versioned Breaks+Replaces relationship with older syncevolution
versions, probably this (although I haven't tested it):
Breaks: syncevolution (<< 1.1+ds1-1~)
Replaces: syncevolution (<< 1.1+ds1-1~)
Otherwise, a partial upgrade can hit file conflicts:

.../syncevolution-common_1.1+ds1-1_all.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/syncevolution-common_1.1+ds1-1_all.deb (--unpack):
trying to overwrite '/usr/share/syncevolution/xml/debug/00default.xml', which
is also in package syncevolution 1.0+ds1~beta2a-1+b1
