 I'm one of the users of tdiary :)

 Those swf files are not main component for tdiary, but just an addon,
 so option 5 approach is kind for us (me, upstream authors and other users).

 And surely I can test it (roughly, though).
 Dai, could you upload updated one to mentors or attache debdiff for it?
