Since this change will no doubt frustrate serious users of psql such as myself, it should be known that you can revert psql to readline functionality like so:
LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libreadline.so.2 psql -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-rc-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
