The first NMU was rejected for a lintian check which appears to have been implemented after the 0.2.8.4-8 upload (because the same problem affects that version too and, presumably, previous versions). E: libwmf0.2-7: embedded-library usr/lib/libwmf-0.2.so.7.1.0: libgd2 As a *temporary* measure, I've implemented a lintian override so that this RC bug can be fixed. There is an upstream option (--disable-heavy) which does avoid the creation of the embedded copy of libgd2 but this option also disables the entire src/extra directory which results in empty libwmf-bin and libwmf-doc packages as well as the removal of the GDK plugin debian/tmp/usr/lib/gtk-*/*/loaders/*.so Once this NMU RC bug fix has migrated to testing, the cloned bug report may need to be upgraded in severity. -- Neil Williams ============= http://www.linux.codehelp.co.uk/
