It does, but the banner is still hardcoded: http://code.google.com/p/py-asterisk/source/detail?r=e6b32cbdaeea1c3154888638f5f66a12969bf68d&path=/Asterisk/Manager.py While it would be nice to have a more sensible way of dealing with this, upgrading to 0.2 will be enough (for now?) to close this bug. Also, and in any case, "Justification: renders package unusable" seems to be quite exaggerated: after all this package works as well as ever - the "only problem" is that it only supports Asterisk 1.0.
