Package: openshot
Version: 1.4.0-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I'm experiencing a segfault when trying to play a video stream in openshot. The
bug appears to be similar to bug #645399 however it can't be fixed by changing
the LC_ALL, also the backtrace seems to indicate a problem in mlt.
To reproduce:
1. Start openshot, go to File>Import Files and import a video file.
2. Drag the video file onto the timeline
3. Press play in the video preview window
4. Segfault -> last message on console is:
on_tlbPlay_clicked called with self.GtkToolButton
Segmentation fault
backtrace below:
Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

This crash is happening in libmlt, and not openshot. I would suggest
trying to play the XML file from OpenShot (i.e. File->Export XML)
using the MLT command line: melt:
melt xml:export.XML
This needs to be fixed in MLT and not openshot, unless I'm
misunderstanding where the crash is happening.
Thanks!
