Description: powerful disaster recovery suite
Mondo is reliable. It backs up your Debian GNU/Linux server or
workstation to
tape, CD-R, CD-RW, NFS or hard disk partition. In the event of catastrophic
data loss, you will be able to restore all of your data [or as much as you
want], from bare metal if necessary. Mondo is in use by numerous blue-chip
enterprises and large organizations, dozens of smaller companies, and
tens of
 thousands of users.
 .
Mondo is comprehensive. Mondo supports LVM, RAID, ext2, ext3, JFS, XFS,
ReiserFS, VFAT, and can support additional file systems easily. It supports
adjustments in disk geometry, including migration from non-RAID to
RAID. Mondo
runs on all major Linux distributions and is getting better all the
time. You
may even use it to backup non-Linux partitions, such as NTFS.
 .

I made a full system backup with mondoarchive, there were no particular
problems with creating the ISOs,
but when I boot my machine using the created DVD, I eventually get "sh:
can't access tty; job control turned off"
or "/sbin/init not found " ..... (strange,isn't it ?)
the only log Icould attach is /var/log/mondo-archive.log but it 's too
big ..... or is it possible to attach one part of the log ?
which part then ?
Thanks

mahashakti89

Sorry for my english ....and this is my first bug report ....

mindi - creates boot/root disks based on your system
Closes: 324302 329246
Changes:
 mindi (1.04-7) unstable; urgency=medium
 .
   * Set urgency to 'medium' because restore is consistently broken without
     any warning.
   * Modified mindi's ProcessLDD() to work with changed ldd >= 2.3.4 output.
     (Closes: #324302, #329246.)
   * Fixed FSF address in copyright file and mispelled date in changelog file
     (lintian reported errors).
   * Amend TryToBeCleverAboutInitrd to avoid failure when mindi is run directly
     rather than from mondoarchive.
