The reason I've uploaded to Ubuntu was to get it in there in time for Precise release. The reason I've not uploaded to Debian yet, is that I'm waiting for my sponsor to reply. If you have upload rights; would you please instead upload the package available in the git repo: git://git.debian.org/git/collab-maint/transmission-remote-gui.git ? There's a release ready, but untagged in master.
