For me #662772, regarding the update-rc.d: /etc/init.d/policycoreutils exists during rc.d purge (use -f to force) error has been fixed in 2.1.10-5. If you are hit by this, you should remove /etc/init.d/policycoreutils first and then try to reconfigure/reinstall the package.
