Package: merkaartor
Version: 0.17.2-5+b4
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer,
Since some days uploading changes to OpenStreetMap from Merkaartor is failing
for me. Previously uploading always worked flawlessly for me. My last
successful upload was on 2012-05-27.
When I try to upload something the following error message is shown in a popup:
---
There was an error uploading this request (404)
"<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN">
<html><head>
<title>404 Not Found</title>
</head><body>
<h1>Not Found</h1>
<p>The requested URL /api/0.6/changeset/11730472/upload was not found on this
server.</p>
<hr>
<address>Apache/2.2.22 (Ubuntu) Server at www.openstreetmap.org:p Port
80</address>
</body></html>
"
Please redownload the problematic feature to handle the conflict.
---
This looks like a standard HTML 404 error page meant for a web browser.
This issue was also reported yesterday by an Ubuntu user on the OpenStreetMap
forum and confirmed by another user.[1]

I have also tried Merkaartor 0.16 from Squeeze today. The issue does not occur
there.
