Thanks - could you try compiling the ethernet code with the fixed "Ethernet.cpp" file on a 32 bit machine (or virtual machine)? I have it working on 32 bit machines here but don't have an AMD64 to test, so if you can confirm that it compiles ok on 32 bit (like mine does) but doesn't on 64 bit, then we know we fixed one bug and are now working on a different one in avr-ld.
