Severity: serious Justification: fails to build from source
That justification applies when building the binary packages from source, not when building example programs contained in the -doc package, therefore this bug is not serious and not release-critical. Downgrading to normal. In version 2.14.2-*, testgtk compiled out of the box, so this is a regression. The patch no_gtkextra.patch has been removed, presumably because it no longer applied in version 2.24. Maybe that this patch is still necessary after all.
