Package: gnome-vfs2
Severity: serious

libgnomevfs2-common has a dep on libfam0c102.  However, libfam0c102 has
been replaced by libfam0 as part of the C++ transition. Therefore
gnome-vfs2 and all of its rdeps are uninstallable with the new version
of fam. Please upload a new version of gnome-vfs2 that has the updated
library in ${shlibs:Depends}.

        Hi,

 fam was reuploaded with a provide for the removed libfam package, so
 this is no longer a RC bug, and gnome-vfs is installable everywhere.
 The API didn't change for the C++ transition (fam is written with C++
 but doesn't export a C++ API), so gnome-vfs2 doesn't need any rebuild.

 However, there's a nasty bug against fam which might cause breakage on
 systems, #327241.

 I'm closing the gnome-vfs2 bug.

   Cheers,
