after installing wheezy on my new server bind9 cannot be started. /var/log/syslog says: isc_stdio_open '/var/log/bind/named_security.log' failed: permission denied Solution: The directory /var/log/bind must be set to 0775 (in postinst?): chmod 0775 /var/log/bind --- Have a nice day.
