Hi,
I've tried to compile a program today with uses libmongo-client and
pkg-config to detect the necessary CFLAGS/LDFLAGS.
libmongo-client.pc has
Requires.private: glib-2.0
This meant it requires libglib2.0-dev to be installed, otherwise the
pkg-config check fails:
# pkg-config --print-errors --cflags libmongo-client
Package glib-2.0 was not found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `glib-2.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable
Package 'glib-2.0', required by 'libmongo-client', not found
In my case, the software used the m4 macro
PKG_CHECK_MODULES.
Please add libglib2.0-dev to the Depends of libmongo-client-dev or check
if the Requires.private is actually needed and can be removed.
