Package: libssl1.0.0 Version: 1.0.1e-1 Severity: grave This version of OpenSSL makes it impossible to connect to my company's IRC server. I have tried four IRC clients (irssi, kvirc, konversation and quassel) and all of them disconnect shortly after connecting.
ircssi gives this error: "SSL read error: decryption failed or bad record mac" kvirc says: [09:39:59] [irc.example.net]: *** You are connected using SSL cipher "DHE-RSA-AES-256-CBC-SHA1" [09:40:00] [SSL ERROR]: decryption failed or bad record mac [09:40:00] [SOCKET ERROR]: Secure Socket Layer error [09:40:00] Connection terminated [irc.example.net (1.2.3.4:1234)] I have verified that everything works when I downgrade to 1.0.1c-4.
