Actually, there is a real bug here; qgis is is one of the packages affected
by the changed C++ ABI in g++ 4.0.2, so will need to be rebuilt against the
new version of gdal and geos once they're available.

However, qgis doesn't need any source changes for this to happen, just a
binNMU, so I'm closing this bug.
