I don't think so. The logo was contributed by jimmac and originally under CC. I remember an old thread on -project where it was found that clause 4b of CC-BY-SA 2.0 allows upgrading to later version, and several packages already fit in that case. I think we are in the same case. Moreover, I can still get in touch with jimmac and ask for a license change, or just apply clause 4b upstream.
