I just spotted the error during a routine all-architectures check (consulting buildd.d.o) of source packages building binary packages that had shown up on amd64 but not i386 or vice versa. i386 turned out to be a false positive here, as mothur-mpi explicitly excludes 32-bit architectures, but I stumbled across the ia64 error along the way. > It is just not clear to me whether only one of CXXFLAGS and > FORTRAN_FLAGS needs to be droped or both.
