Unfortunately the filelist does not show the symlink targets. Try less on the .deb or look at the buildd logs, e.g. https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=openmpi&arch=i386&ver=1.6.5-4&stamp=1377676706 debian/libopenmpi1.6.links contains the list of hardcoded and inconsistent links.
