Package: fretsonfire
Version: 1.3.110.dfsg-3
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

fretsonfire still does not launch because of a deprecated import for
PngImagePluging in textures.py. This was already reported as bug

http://bugs.debian.org/729209

and supposed to be fixed by the latest revision of python-imaging.
Unfortunately this is not the case hence I suggest to apply Jeremy
Laine's patch and to fix the import error in fretsonfire.

I can confirm that the attached patch fixes the issue.

Regards,

Markus

Apparently this issue was fixed in python-imaging in version 2.2.1-3.
Fretsonfire works again thus I'm closing this bug report.
