Package: lightdm Version: 1.8.6-1 Severity: grave Hi,
after upgrade to this version i try to check, if the autologin timeout is working by now. While it is not working yet, i need to type the password and i see, that the login dialog shows my password while typing in clear text. No asterisks, no bullets, only clear text. This is a problem, because it allows another people to see my password while typing, until i press enter (to login). regards --- System information. --- Architecture: amd64 Kernel: Linux 3.12-1-amd64 Debian Release: jessie/sid 500 wheezy-backports mozilla.debian.net 500 testing security.debian.org 500 testing ftp.cz.debian.org 500 stable deb.opera.com --- Package information. --- Depends (Version) | Installed =====================================-+-============== libc6 (>= 2.14) | libgcrypt11 (>= 1.4.5) | libglib2.0-0 (>= 2.35.9) | libpam0g (>= 0.99.7.1) | libxcb1 | libxdmcp6 | debconf (>= 0.5) | OR debconf-2.0 | lightdm-gtk-greeter | OR lightdm-greeter | dbus | consolekit | adduser | Recommends (Version) | Installed ===========================-+-=========== xserver-xorg | 1:7.7+5 Suggests (Version) | Installed ==============================-+-=========== accountsservice | 0.6.34-2 upower | 0.9.23-2+b1 -- Slavko http://slavino.sk
