denemo has been ported to aubio 4 upstream. The upstream repository contains patches to support both aubio 3 and aubio 4: [1] [2] [3] [4]. Looking at the code of denemo in sid, the patches might need some work to apply to that version. It's probably less work to upgrade to a new upstream version and include the patches.
