Package: nxlog-ce Severity: serious Version: 2.7.1191-1 Upstream have changed the license of nxlog and it is now DSFG incompatible. The reasons behind the licensing change are outlined here: http://nxlog.org/why-the-gpl-does-not-work.
In summary, they now require that any private changes to the software
must be made public, failing the "dissident" test.
This (RC) bug is to:
* Prevent 2.7.1191-1 from migrating to testing. The version currently
there (2.5.1089-1) is DSFG compatible.
* Centralise any further discussion about the future of nxlog in Debian.
