Thanks for your bug report on gnome-system-log! I'm not able to reproduce the behaviour you're describing and will need additional information to find a solution. Did any previous version work better for you? How big are your logs that g-s-l needs to parse at startup? Can you provide strace dumps from running g-s-l?
