I have been notified that wxwidgets2.8 support is going away to be replace with wxwidgets3.0. This effects maitreya because the version in unstable links to 2.8 libraries.
I notified the upstream and he accepted the bug and produced a new upstream =7.0.6 I had difficluty building a version of this upstream at first because one dependancy libwxsqlite3-3.0-dev is not in unstable yet. For my testing purposes on my test system I solved this on my system by grabbing the source in experimental from the Debian packages website https://www.debian.org/distrib/packages I then built this package for debian using debuild. I installed it, which allowed my to build/run my potential upgrade package using debuild. I did crude testing on this program and found that it basicly works, but on one particular menu item, it pops up an error window. This new bug did not exist in the old verion 7.0.5. (i reverted and tested for it.) I have notified the upstream and am waiting to hear back.
