Hi Security Team,

I see that flashplugin-nonfree/1:3.2 is still in Debian stable (not removed and
not replaced by the available 1:3.2+wheezy1), and the feedback I got so far is
basically that contrib is not supported by the Security Team, even that the
infrastructure for allowing contrib packages to go to stable via
security.debian.org would currently even not be in place. I regret that. Can
I help in the Security Team to provide some basic security support for contrib?

Note that the FAQ currently states this :
https://www.debian.org/security/faq#contrib

  | If it is possible to fix the problem, and the package maintainer or someone
  | else provides correct updated packages, then the security team will
generally
  | process them and release an advisory.

In this case I'd like to see this bug
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=752277
fixed with the minimal changes in this package.
https://people.debian.org/~bartm/flashplugin-nonfree/D5C0FC14/flashplugin-nonfree_3.2+wheezy1_amd64.changes

Please let me know how I could help.

Regards,

Bart Martens
