dpkg-source --commit produced a patch with all Unix line endings, which failed; running that through unix2dos gave a patch with all DOS line endings, which also failed, with

(Stripping trailing CRs from patch; use --binary to disable.)

dpkg-source: info: the patch has fuzz which is not allowed, or is malformed

Evidently what is required is Unix in the headers and DOS in the actual patch lines. I consider it a bug that dpkg-source --commit doesn't produce that, but haven't yet reported it.

Since this is an arch:all package, it only needs to build on your system.
