Josselin, you seem to have added this patch in 3.12.2-2.1 as part of "Reinstate patches for better VT management", without a bug number. Could you please describe what behaviour you were aiming for with this, or point to an upstream or Debian bug where it's described? It looks as though https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=580630 might be related. Ideally, I'd like to make autologin work while still keeping whatever improvement to VT management you intended, but I can't do that without understanding the goal of those patches.
