A patch that doesn't fix the actual problem is not going to be accepted by the release team and isn't helping either. Seeing that this bug has been open for weeks now and the Upstart maintainers don't seem to care, can't we just set this to an end now and just remove Upstart. No one cares and no one uses it anyway, yet it keeps another RC bug open. If anyone feels fancy enough to use it, they can just install it from unstable. Adrian -- .''`.
