Package: obexd-client
Version: 0.48-1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
since an upgrade to version 0.48-1 in testing sending files to my smartphone
via gnome3-bluetooth-applet does not work any more.
Instead of the transfer dialog I get an error message
"GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name
org.openobex.client was not provided by any .service files". A downgrade to
0.46-1+b1 from stable fixes the problem, everything works fine again.
My first guess would be that it has something to do with "change D-Bus
namespace to org.bluez.obex." in version 0.47 (according to changelog).
If I change the line
Name=org.bluez.obex.client
in
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/obex-client.serv
back to
Name=org.openobex.client
as it was in version 0.46, the transfer dialog appears again after a quite long
time but it seems that the transfer does not start.
The problem occurs reproducable both on my desktop pc and my notebook so it may
also affect other people.
If you have further questions or bugfix proposals that need to be tested please
do not hesitate to contact me.
Best regards,
Henning

Hi, all.
Thanks for your reply.
I closed this bug. And I just send request removing obex package from Debian.
Best regards,
Nobuhiro
