Just updated my pbuilder Jessie chroot on amd64. Tried to reproduce
it several times with and without network access. The package built
fine every time. Then tried in a Sid chroot and it built fine there as
well (again with and without network access). I don't know what the
problem can be in your setup.

May you give me more details about it? When it was last updated, its
full package list, if it has /proc mounted and CPUs allocated for your
instance? Is there any way for me to manually log in and try the
build?
Did the build fail all the time or only at this, reported time?
