You have two choices to fix this:

1. (Preferably) compile using Qt3 instead.
2. Build-Depend on and use the appropriate versions of g++.  See
   http://people.debian.org/~rmurray/c++transition.html for details.

Those NMUs have long since been incoporated into the xdrawchem package,
and being a co-maintainer now, I am closing them.
