Hello, The pb is that povray uses a private function of libpng, that used to be exported, but isn't anymore.
povray 3.6 has been patched to work around this problem (workaround is the correct word, it is not a real fix, that should be made upstream). povray 3.5 has the same problem. At this point, I'm not sure if it is worth to fix povray 3.5 or just drop povray-3.5 and povray-3.6 and use povray. I initially planned to let povray-3.6 for some time to make sure there are no serious problems and make the transition later, but actually, a faster transition might be better, as Jeroen advised. -- Zorglub Clément Stenac
