I have looked into iceweasel and fullscreen stuff today.My proposal: remove the current fullscreen-extension package from Debian and package ff-fullscreen [1].
I have started working on ff-fullscreen already (for a customer project). It needs some patches here and there, but works well with Iceweasel in jessie.
